For two decades Larry has led a dual life. Considered a leading brand architect, Larry has spent over twenty years at some of the world’s major advertising agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather (NY), DDB and Leo Burnett (Chicago) and Foote, Cone, and Belding (LA) where he oversaw nearly 500 employees and $500,000,000.00 in annual billings. He has managed advertising for companies ranging from McDonald’s and Coca-Cola to Oracle, American Express, Acura, United Airlines and Universal Studios. Larry helped launch such billion-dollar brands as Acura automobiles, Huggies diapers, Oracle, and Chicken McNuggets.
Larry has also been a leader in the environmental movement, working with organizations to improve the planet and encourage more sustainable ways of operating, enhancing both the bottom line and brand equity. Celebrated by both Adweek and the United Nations for this work, Larry has run ECO, Hollywood’s environmental organization, for over a decade. He serves on the boards of organizations such as Oceana, the Union of Concerned Scientists, the WILD Foundation, the International League of Conservation Photographers, and the Center For Conscious Evolution. He has been honored by the United Nations for his efforts on behalf of the planet and has been nominated for Grammys and Emmys. He currently lives with his family in Bel Air, California.
