Peter Stranger

Peter Stranger is the President of Rabuck | Stranger, and of its subsidiary company, Current, specializing in marketing communications for socially responsible organizations.
Peter was born in South Africa, raised and educated in England and moved to the United States in 1973. He has spent over 30 years in corporate advertising and marketing running major advertising agencies, including positions such as CEO of J. Walter Thompson, West, President of Della Femina, McNamee, Los Angeles and Managing Partner of Bozell in Irvine, California. He has managed accounts in every category from automotive to package goods, financial services to entertainment, airlines to alcoholic beverages. Former clients include Isuzu, Taco Bell, 20th Century Fox, Transamerica, Singapore Airlines and Carl's Jr. restaurants.
In addition to his work in advertising, Peter is an Affiliate of the League of Conservation Photographers and a member of the Ocean Council, the advisory board of Oceana. He has executive produced a documentary film on the scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory responsible for the Mars “Rover” landings; produced a film for the 8th World Wilderness Congress; led a photographic safari to Botswana; developed a concert series benefiting humanitarian awareness programs. For 12 years Peter was a Trustee of Pitzer College in Claremont, California, and for 10 years he served as a Director of the Los Angeles Opera, where he was Chairman of the Marketing Committee. He is a founding Director of CityLife Downtown Charter School and of The Oaks School, both in Los Angeles. He has been married to Camille Stranger for 28 years and they have fledged their two children from their Hollywood Hills home.
